The AWS and Snowflake Data Engineer will be responsible for interfacing with key stakeholders, applying technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, and contributing to technology-specific best practices and standards. Responsibilities:
Enable digital transformation for our clients in a global delivery model Research technologies independently Recommend appropriate solutions Contribute to technology-specific best practices and standards Interface with key stakeholders Apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle Qualifications:
Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Raleigh, NC or Richardson, TX or be willing to relocate to the area. Travel in the US may be required. Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution; three years of progressive experience in the field may substitute for each year of education. Authorized to work in the United States. At least 2 years of IT experience. At least 1 year of AWS experience. At least 1 year of Snowflake experience. Experience in end-to-end implementation using AWS and Snowflake. Strong knowledge of SQL, Unix shell scripting, and Python. Preferred:
Experience in Banking/Financial domain. Knowledge of Data structures, Data Engineering concepts, Algorithms, Multi-threading, and memory management. Experience in large-scale cloud data migrations with Snowflake, Python, Spark, SQL. Knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices. Understanding of Agile frameworks. Good communication and analytical skills. Experience with Azure/AWS Databricks is a plus. Ability to work in diverse, multi-stakeholder teams. Company:
