The Department of Mechanical Engineering invites applications for a part-time adjunct faculty position for the Winter 2026 semester. We are seeking qualified candidates to teach an undergraduate course focused on the principles of Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and engineering graphics. The course covers the fundamentals of engineering drawing and graphical communication as both a language and a design tool for engineers. Instruction includes orthographic and pictorial views, 2D and 3D CAD modeling, and the application of SolidWorks CAD software to create engineering design representations. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related field with demonstrated expertise in mechanical design and product development. Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software is essential. Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in mechanical engineering with demonstrated expertise in mechanical design and product development. Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD software is essential. Scheduled weekly hours vary depending on class contract load. Adjunct Faculty are hired each semester on an as-needed basis.
