DESCRIPTION
Alley Theatre is seeking a talented individual to join their team as General Manager. The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director, Artistic Director, and leadership team to oversee and coordinate the theatre's daily operations. The final hiring decision will be made by a search committee comprising Alley’s board and staff members. The goal is to make a final decision in Q4 of 2025, with onboarding as soon as possible thereafter. The Alley Theatre, founded in 1947 by Nina Vance, is one of the largest professional nonprofit theatres in the U.S. outside of New York City. It is one of the oldest professional resident theatre companies in the country. The theatre is committed to maintaining a full-time Resident Acting Company and engages approximately 249,000 people annually through a diverse season of classics, new works, and community programs. Performances are held at the 774-seat Hubbard Theatre, the 296-seat Neuhaus Theatre, and in the community. The Alley continues to expand its reputation as a leader in the national theatre scene, with initiatives like the Alley All New Festival for new plays, which is nationally recognized.
