Advanced Practice Provider (APP) - Urgent Care / Occupational Medicine Board certified as FNP or PA-C l Full-Time Position Position Overview:•Treats patients for urgent care and occupational medicine needs•Performs physical exams, takes histories, orders/interprets tests•Manages minor injuries, episodic illnesses, and work-related health issues•Conducts DOT and fitness-for-duty exams•Provides emergency stabilization care if needed•Works independently with physician available for consultationClinical Procedures May Include:•Laceration repair (sutures/staples/Dermabond)•Splinting fractures•Foreign body removal•Incision/drainage of abscesses•Pelvic exams, EKG, and X-ray interpretation•Basic airway management and CPRRequirements:•Master's degree (NP or PA) from an accredited program•Board certified as FNP or PA-C•Active NC license and DEA eligibility•DOT-certified or willing to obtain•2+ years' experience in urgent care, ER, or occupational medicine preferred
