Partner with the best You will be responsible for taking the engineering capabilities to the next level in the API protection As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for: Working as part of the core team on building Akamai SaaS platform, based on cutting edge technologies Building: designing, architecting, developing, testing, deploying and operating core components of our platform Developing tests, perform code reviews and work closely with QA team to ensure high quality code Do what you love To be successful in this role you will: Have a bachelors degree & 2+ years of experience in designing and developing scalable system Have deep understanding of application architectures: HTTP protocol, APIs, frameworks, proxies, gateways, service mesh, Have experience with one or more of the software stacks: Python, Go, Java, NodeJS Have experience in spring; Use of REST principles and patterns; Experience with SQL & NoSQL databases Have Experience and knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka Work in a way that works for you FlexBase, Akamai's Global Flexible Working Program, is based on the principles that are helping us create the best workplace in the world.
