Overview
We’re seeking a self-starting hardware design engineer for our automotive LiDAR business area. As a Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for capturing electrical requirements, designing and testing complex mixed-signal PCBs, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated systems.
The ideal candidate will have experience in digital and analog design, low-noise circuits, FPGAs, controls, and some knowledge of electro-optics or photonics. Strong communication skills, an open mind, and a collaborative spirit are essential.

Skill Requirements
- Design and testing of low-noise circuits
- Experience with high-speed ADCs and DACs
- Experience with FPGAs
- Basic knowledge of control systems
- Managing manufacturing and production of boards and modules
- Designing complex systems amidst risk and uncertainty
Required Qualifications:
- Strong hands-on engineering and prototyping skills
- Schematic capture and layout of analog, mixed-signal, and high-speed designs (Altium preferred)
- Ability to select ICs and guide architecture decisions
- Knowledge of SPICE, MATLAB, or other simulation tools
- Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years or Master’s with 5+ years of experience
The ideal candidate will have experience in several of these areas:
- Mixed-signal PCB design
- Electro-optic systems, especially LiDAR
- Digital communication protocols (USB, Ethernet, RGMII/SGMII, I2C, SPI, UART)
- FPGA design and debugging, especially Xilinx devices
- Digital signal processing
This is a full-time, on-site position available immediately. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States.
