Infosys is seeking a
Senior Android Developer . This position will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle, including Requirements Elicitation, Application Architecture definition, and Design. You will play an important role in creating high-level design artifacts, delivering high-quality code for modules, leading validation and testing, and supporting activities related to implementation, transition, and warranty. Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Houston, Austin, Richardson,
TX , or willing to relocate. Travel to project locations may be required. Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent from an accredited institution. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology. Experience in Android development. Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of hands-on experience in
Android . Proficiency in
Kotlin
and
Java . Experience with DI frameworks such as Dagger, Hilt. Experience with testing tools like JUnit, JMockit, Appium. Experience with monitoring tools such as Logback, Datadog. Familiarity with Zebra SDK, Datawedge for firmware access. Knowledge of Async programming with Coroutine, RxJava. Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions like Airwatch/WorkspaceOne. Working experience with Zebra Android devices. Familiarity with Jenkins for test automation and report analysis. Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills. Experience in writing and maintaining BDD scenarios using Cucumber is a plus. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. The role involves sitting and working at a computer for extended periods. Communication can be via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Travel may be required.
