Clinical & Operational Leadership
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the health systems mission. Standardize clinical workflows and evidence-based practices to improve quality and efficiency. Engage with surgical and hospital leadership to enhance anesthesia services. Drive process improvement initiatives promoting a high-reliability culture. Lead efforts to improve patient experience, safety, and care delivery efficiency. Implement clinical protocols in collaboration with the Quality department. Support financial stewardship and resource management. Residency Program Director
Lead all aspects of the ACGME accreditation process for the anesthesiology residency program. Develop and refine curriculum, assessments, and educational experiences. Foster a culture of learning, mentorship, and professional growth. Coordinate with GME and accrediting bodies to maintain program excellence. Faculty Development, Research, & Mentorship
Promote faculty development and mentorship programs. Encourage participation in research, quality improvement, and scholarly activities. Workforce Planning & Engagement
Oversee recruitment, retention, and engagement strategies. Foster an inclusive and supportive departmental culture. Support faculty well-being initiatives. Financial & Operational Management
Monitor and develop strategies for resource and financial management. Ensure fiscal responsibility and operational efficiency. Clinical Responsibilities
Maintain active clinical practice providing high-quality anesthesia care. Lead by example in professionalism, evidence-based practice, and safety. Promote efficient use of clinical resources. Reporting & Relationships
Report to the Medical Director of Anesthesiology. Collaborate with operational, clinical, and executive leadership. Qualifications
Board-certified anesthesiologist with clinical and administrative experience. Experience in residency program leadership, GME administration, and academic medicine. Completion of anesthesiology residency/fellowship. Master's in Business Administration preferred.
