Tulane University School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Section of Hematology & Medical Oncology is seeking applicants for the position of Assistant Professor.
This position is ideal for an ABIM-certified (or eligible) hematologist-oncologist with experience in hematologic malignancies, blood and marrow transplantation, and cellular immunotherapy. The candidate should have a demonstrated interest in clinical trial development, translational research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
- Clinical Care: Provide exceptional patient care in hematologic malignancies, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (autologous/allogeneic), and CAR-T/Cellular therapies.
- Research & Clincal Trials: Develop and lead investigator-initiated and collaborative clinical trials. Work closely with laboratory scientists to advance translational research.
- Regulatory & Accreditation Compliance: Ensure adherence to FACT Standards, FDA Regulations, and other relevant policies.
- Education & Mentorship: Train and mentor fellows, residents, and medical/graduate students in hematologic malignancies, transplantation, and cellular therapeutics.
- Institutional Collaboration: Engage with Tulane Cancer Center leadership and the broader university community.
