Java AWS with GKP (Google Kubernetes platform) GAP (Google API gateway) Location : NYC, NY/ NJ, onsite Experience : 8+yrs Client : Mphasis Visa : H1B, USC, H4EAD Major Criteria To pick Candidates :- Should have Finance or Banking sector work experience Till 1993, we can take JNTU / Osmania University and 1994 and above should be other University Must have 2+yrs of US work experience Candidate should give Prime Email ID and Prime watsup Number - Not VOIP number Required Skills & Experience Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 5+ years of experience in backend development using Java 8+ , Spring Boot , and Spring Cloud . Strong hands-on experience with GKE and Kubernetes orchestration (pods, services, deployments, autoscaling). Experience configuring and managing Google API Gateway (GAP), including routing, security, and traffic policies. Familiarity with AWS core services : EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, etc. Experience with containerization using Docker and deployment automation tools (e.g., Helm, Skaffold). Good understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2/JWT authentication, and microservices architecture. Proficiency with CI/CD and version control tools (Git, Jenkins, Cloud Build). Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Google Cloud or AWS certification (e.g., Professional Cloud Developer , AWS Developer - Associate ). Experience with Istio or other service meshes in Kubernetes environments. Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus , Grafana , or Stackdriver . Knowledge of hybrid cloud or multi-cloud architecture patterns.
