Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine (JJIM) is seeking an
Associate Director, Immunology Derm
for the Mid-Atlantic district, including Maryland, DC, Virginia, and West Virginia. The PECS team is committed to enhancing Patient Experience (Px) by providing personalized and seamless support to help patients start and stay on treatments. The Associate Director will lead and develop a team of Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs) responsible for access and fulfillment across healthcare provider accounts, executing the PECS FRM strategy. The role involves fostering communication across departments, managing a team of up to 10 direct reports, developing strategic plans, and ensuring team performance aligns with organizational goals. Responsibilities include:
Leading, coaching, and retaining a skilled team in the Immunology business and healthcare marketplace. Managing access and fulfillment impact for patients starting or continuing therapy. Developing strategic plans and managing team execution. Building customer relationships and achieving team goals. Supporting team members in addressing patient obstacles related to access and fulfillment, including knowledge of Buy & Bill, medical benefits, pharmacy benefits, and site of care. Collaborating with cross-functional partners and managing budgets. Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA or related graduate degree preferred. Knowledge of reimbursement principles, billing, coding, prior authorization, and appeals processes. Proven performance in prior roles and at least 3 years of people management experience. Minimum 8 years healthcare business experience, preferably in biopharmaceutical market access or managed markets. Ability to travel up to 75%. Compensation & Benefits:
