Under the direction of the Executive Director of Childcare Quality Assurance and in accordance with the Christian mission and purpose of the Great Miami Valley YMCA Association, the Associate Executive Director for Childcare is responsible for the development, organization, and implementation of high-quality YMCA Child Care programs.
1. Bachelor's degree in child development, human services, social services, or equivalent preferred.
2. Three or more years of program management experience, preferably in a YMCA or other nonprofit agency
3. Certification requirements include: CPR/AED Adult, First Aid, YMCA new employee orientation, and YMCA Child Abuse Prevention and Recognition training is required within the first 30 days of employment.
4. Ability to direct programs through supervision of volunteers and staff, development and monitoring of budgets, marketing and public relations, program development and fundraising.
5. Valid Ohio driver’s license and capable of driving to multiple site locations.
6. Prefer knowledge of and previous experience with diverse populations.
7. Proven track record of developing authentic and deepened relationships with others.
8. Ability to establish and maintain collaborations with community organizations.
9. Meet all Center Administrator criteria as outlined in the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services licensing requirements
