Ballet Afsaneh is seeking 2–4 experienced dancers to join our paid performance ensemble for the 2025–26 season. We’re looking for dancers who are excited to train in and perform Persian, Afghan, Tajik, and Uzbek dance traditions with a commitment of at least one year.
We’re Looking For:
– Strong foundation in Contemporary, Ballet, Modern, or traditional dance forms (e.g., Classical Indian, Iranian, Tajik, Uzbek, Classical Chinese)
– Experience with Central Asian or Middle Eastern dance is a plus
– Prior ensemble/company experience
– Commitment to weekly classes and rehearsals
– Willingness to do (or learn) professional performance makeup
