A DSMS On-Premise Azure DevOps Administrator supporting the Application Development Team is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of all servers within the Azure DevOps and Spirateam IT infrastructure. This role ensures optimal performance, smooth operation of CI/CD pipelines, and facilitates efficient software development workflows by administering project collections, managing permissions, and overseeing server health. The administrator proactively monitors, troubleshoots, and implements updates and configurations to ensure system availability, while adhering to security protocols. Essential Duties, Responsibilities, and Requirements: Perform initial on-premise software installation and configuration of Microsoft Azure DevOps, Inflectras Spirateam, and Rapise server applications. Manage Azure on-premise services, including virtual machines, containers, networking, and databases. Maintain expertise in version control systems, particularly Git. Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks and processes. Utilize monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for performance management. Implement security best practices, including RBAC, Azure Policy, and secrets management via Azure Key Vault. Diagnose and resolve server-related technical issues, including hardware failures and software conflicts. Provide technical support to internal users regarding server issues. Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams, promoting DevOps culture through effective communication. Monitor server resource utilization and plan capacity upgrades proactively. Optimize server performance through tuning, key management, and resource allocation. Assist Enterprise System administrators as needed. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Enforce security policies on servers, including access controls and encryption standards. Monitor logs for suspicious activity and investigate security breaches. Stay updated on emerging security threats and implement mitigation strategies. Knowledge of DoD DISA STIG requirements and effective communication skills. Strong troubleshooting skills for DevOps-related issues. Familiarity with Agile processes and procedures. On-premises experience as an Azure DevOps Admin. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of CMMI processes or similar systems. Knowledge of SQL Server. Experience migrating from TFS to Azure import service. Minimum Education and Experience: Security+ certification. Associates degree or equivalent work experience (1 year experience = 1 year education). At least 2 years supporting application development.
