Architect / Job Captain
to help bring our visions to life.
️ What You’ll Do
As a Job Captain at Donald Joseph Inc., you will play a key role in the design and production process for custom residential projects. Responsibilities include:
Preparing and developing construction documents and permit sets. Coordinating with consultants and clients to ensure design integrity and code compliance. Producing Revit-based BIM models to communicate design intent and support construction. Assisting in project management, client presentations, and design development. Optionally, participating in 3D rendering to visualize and market design concepts.
We Are Seeking Candidates With
3–5 years of experience in custom residential architecture. Proficiency in Revit BIM software is required. Strong understanding of California residential building codes and permitting. Demonstrated ability to produce detailed construction documents. A degree in Architecture or a related field. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Bonus: Experience with 3D rendering software (e.g., Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray, SketchUp, etc.). Bonus: Candidates that are licensed Architects
