Beattie Padovano, LLC is seeking a dedicated, experienced legal assistant with excellent computer skills. The legal administrative assistant’s responsibilities will be, but are not limited to: Communication with clients in person, over the phone, and via email Drafting, proofreading, and filing or sending legal documents, such as motions or letters of intent, etc. Perform administrative duties, such as maintaining lawyers’ calendars, scheduling appointments, making photocopies, and compiling complex documentation Screening, directing, and prioritizing incoming calls and emails to lawyers Performing legal and background research when requested Creating and maintaining case files Candidates will have the following skills and qualifications: Experience working in a fast-paced legal environment Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Excellent attention to detail Strong organizational skills Ability to multi-task while also adapting to changes in deadlines and the nature of the assignment is a must. Minimum of 2 years’ experience working at a law firm The firm offers a comprehensive benefits package which includes medical and dental insurance, life insurance with AD&D and 401(k) program. Salary range is $53,000-$60,000 a year.
