Overview
Ro Health is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Behavior Class Aide to join our team. This role is essential in providing high-quality support to individuals with behavioral challenges, particularly those on the autism spectrum. The Behavioral Class Aide will work at a school district in the Barstow area for a mix of classroom support and 1:1. This position would begin ASAP and continue onto the next school year. This would be M-F between school hours of 8 am -3 pm. Experience working with supporting students with special needs in a classroom is preferred.

Duties
Implement behavior intervention plans as directed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Conduct patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify individual needs and goals. Provide direct care and support to clients, focusing on enhancing their social skills, communication, and daily living activities. Maintain accurate medical documentation and medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies across different environments. Monitor client progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising BCBA. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities related to special education and behavioral health. Requirements
Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or other developmental disabilities. Knowledge of patient care practices and the ability to perform patient assessments effectively. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and the importance of maintaining confidentiality in medical documentation. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members. A background in special education or related fields is preferred but not required. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Willingness to learn new techniques and strategies for supporting individuals with behavioral challenges.
