Talent Acquisition Specialist

Brightcore Energy is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a temporary six (6) month assignment, with the potential to be converted to a permanent position based on the operational needs of the organization. In this role, you will be responsible for full-cycle recruitmentfrom sourcing to onboardingand serve as a strategic partner to hiring managers across the business. This position reports to the Manager, Talent Acquisition.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to understand hiring needs and develop proactive recruiting strategies.
Work with HR leadership to align recruitment efforts with workforce planning.
Assist hiring managers in defining job requirements and qualifications.
Draft and revise job descriptions and specifications based on departmental needs.
Manage sourcing efforts using a variety of channels to attract a diverse candidate pool.
Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified, passive and active candidates.
Promote internal talent mobility by identifying internal candidates.
Guide candidates and hiring managers through the recruitment lifecycle.
Maintain accurate and timely data in the applicant tracking system (Greenhouse preferred).
Develop compensation recommendations in coordination with HR leadership.
Present and negotiate job offers and assist with background checks and onboarding activities.
Advise hiring managers on best practices in talent acquisition.
Represent Brightcore Energy within the renewable energy community to support brand awareness and pipeline development.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably within the renewable energy or clean technology space.
Experience with an applicant tracking system (Greenhouse preferred).
Demonstrated success sourcing passive talent and building pipelines.
Familiarity with employment laws and recruiting best practices.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple requisitions and priorities independently.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Expected Hours of Work
This is a temporary six (6) month position with the possibility of permanent employment based on performance and Brightcore's operational needs. The base salary range for this position is $75,000$90,000 annually and is eligible for a performance-based bonus. Compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, education, internal equity, and market conditions. Brightcore Energy offers a comprehensive benefits package, which will be made available upon conversion to a permanent role.
Travel Requirements
Travel required up to 10% within the Northeast.
Work Environment
Hybrid role based in Armonk, NY (no relocation allowance offered).
Office setting.

Office/Remote Work Guidelines
Recognizing the success of remote work, Brightcore operates in a hybrid model. Eligible employees will have the option to work remotely for two (2) days per week at their discretion, with final approval by their direct supervisor. This policy is subject to change at Brightcore's discretion.
