Milling Center Manager | Santa Ana, CA Full-Time | Clean Modern Lab | $155K Annually | Generous Benefits We are seeking a highly skilledMilling Center Managerto lead operations at our fully automated, high-volume milling facility. This is a hands-on leadership role combining dental lab operations, CAD/CAM workflow management, and implant restorative coordination.
Responsibilities include : Milling Operations: Lead day-to-day milling center operations. Operate and maintain dental milling machines (Versamill 5X500L or similar). Troubleshoot equipment and technical issues to reduce downtime. Ensure consistent, on-time production of full-arch restorations. Manage case tracking, shipping, and delivery workflows. CAD/CAM Workflow Management: Oversee CAM software workflows (hyperDENT ) including nesting and file calibration. Collaborate with CAD designers usingExocad and 3Shapeto ensure production-ready designs. Implement process improvements and support R&D and SOP development. Implant Restorative Integration: Understand restorative protocols and implant systems (including titanium A6). Ensure case compatibility and quality for implant-based restorations. Communicate with dental providers and technicians to resolve case issues. Quality Control and Case Management: Maintain accurate documentation using eQMS and MRP platforms. Perform quality control checks before shipping. Track and document equipment maintenance and production updates. Cross-Functional Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for milling-related questions. Coordinate with internal teams including customer service and production. Maintain professional communication with dental offices and labs. Qualifications Required: 5+ years of experience in a dental laboratory. 3+ years inCAD/CAM or milling management. Proficient with CAM software (hyperDENT ), Exocad, and 3Shape. Knowledge of dental implant workflows and restorative compatibility. Strong communication, documentation, and team leadership skills. Proficient in Microsoft 365 and cloud-based lab systems. : Experience with Versamill 5X500L or similar milling systems. Background in medium to large dental labs.
