Primary job duties include:
- Develop, track, refine and assist with information security programs and audit preparations to improve service delivery and operational efficiency
- Conduct research, surveys, and needs assessments to identify challenges and recommend solutions, workflow improvements, and policy change suggestions to Security leadership
- Monitor the status and compliance of assigned program areas and follow up on open tasks
- Evaluate resource needs and make recommendations to optimize performance across the programs
- Provide guidance and training to internal staff, management, and external partners on program-related procedures and best practices
- Support the SCDOR CISO/CPO and SCDOR management in establishing, implementing, and monitoring agency software and application licensing program
- Assist CISO in other administrative tracking, scheduling, and escalation tasks
A high school diploma and relevant program experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong team and people skills
- Experience tracking and assigning project tasks
- Experience reviewing and creating step-by-step procedures
- Experience with reviewing policies and compliance
- Must have familiarity with a high security, regulated environment
- Administrative support background
- Ability to work independently and with a team and suggest process improvements
