This role requires a self-starter with deep federal sales experience, capable of navigating complex environments and building long-term value in key programs and with Federal Leadership Executives along with Federal System Integrators. In this role, you will also command and manage all aspects of early opportunity identification with federal agencies and systems integrators while partnering with sales teams as opportunities develop and approach a more tactical closing phase.This is a high-impact individual contributor role—no direct reports, but strong leadership and collaboration are essential. A strong network is essential, but working with sales teams to close business and driving strategic outcomes matters most. Key Responsibilities
Partner with the Sr. Sales Director to shape tactical and strategic direction. Drive growth through identification and capture plans for large Federal Programs Sell through VARs and FSIs; position Gigamon for long-term program success. Collaborate with Account Reps, Inside Sales, and Presales Engineers. Maintain accurate pipeline and forecasting in Salesforce. Identify and pursue new opportunities, close deals consistently. Represent Gigamon at industry events and customer engagements. Provide market insights and competitive intelligence. Contribute to product strategy and cross-functional initiatives. Qualifications
Top Secret Clearance Highly Preferred Strong past performance with SES level Federal Clients, and System Integrators Previous success working large Federal Programs 10+ years in
Cybersecurity , Networking, Network Security, or Cloud sales. Proven track record of quotaattainment and sales excellence. Strong consultative selling and communication skills. Experience with Salesforce and disciplined forecasting. Bachelor’s degree preferred, technical background a plus. The base salary compensation range targeted for this role is $132,000 - $170,000, with an opportunity to earn an annual bonus or commission (subject to the terms and conditions of the plan).
