We are seeking a skilled CNC Set Up Swiss Machinist to join our team and operate our computer numeric controlled Swiss machines. As a CNC Swiss Machinist, you will be responsible for setting up and programming the machines to produce precision parts and components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
The CNC Swiss Machinist will be required to perform regular maintenance on the machines to ensure optimal performance and quality output. Additionally, the CNC Swiss Machinist must have a keen eye for detail to inspect finished parts for accuracy and make any necessary adjustments to the machine settings.
The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in operating CNC Swiss machines and a solid understanding of machining processes. The CNC Swiss Machinist should also be able to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and be able to meet tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Swiss machines to produce parts - Hanwha preferred
- Program machines based on engineering drawings
- Perform regular maintenance on machines
- Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Meet production deadlines and quality standards
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as a CNC Swiss Machinist
- Strong understanding of machining processes
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment
