SEEKING A QUALIFIED BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER TO FILL A MULTI-CENTER NEED. 

_THIS ROLE WILL COMMUTE TO/FROM AND SUPPORT BOTH OF THE FOLLOWING CENTERS, DIVIDING TIME BETWEEN EACH: _

PROVIDENCE SURGERY CENTER: 5002 Crossings Cir #110, Mt. Juliet, TN 37122

LEBANON SURGERY CENTER: 1414 W Baddour Pkwy, Lebanon, TN 37087

ABOUT THE POSITION:

• Will report directly to the administrator
• Will lead an efficient, successful, highly focused customer service trained business office team including: Surgery scheduling, admissions/registration, insurance verification, patient financial counselors and collections
• Will lead many process improvement initiatives
• Will ensure accurate business transactions and processes which require a high level of professional judgment and discretion in carrying out assignments, the ability to problem solve, a high degree of confidentiality, and the ability to work under pressure

DUTIES INCLUDE: 

• Managing revenue cycle process
• Establishing and maintaining protocols for the charge entry
• Completing all month end close processes
• Assuring compliance to industry regulatory standards as well as facility/USPI Business Office standards, policies and procedures
• Communicating regularly and effectively
• Dynamic leadership skills to help direct, coach and motivate staff
• Conducting personnel evaluations for employees supervised
• Interviewing and hiring personnel as needed due to staff changes
• Conducting departmental meetings
• Maintaining strict confidentiality in regards to patient account status

Required Skills

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:  

• Valid HS Diploma REQUIRED, Bachelor's degree in a business or HIM related field strongly preferred.
• MINIMUM OF 3-5 YEARS' BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN A MEDICAL SETTING IS REQUIRED
• PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE MANAGING STAFF IN A BUSINESS OFFICE SETTING IS REQUIRED
• Proficiency in accounting and ability to use computer automated accounting systems
• Experience working with all types of third party payers (HMO, PPO, Medicare/Medicaid, etc.)
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Demonstrates accountability, integrity, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative
• USPI complies with federal, state, and/or local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce.  If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.  If you receive an exemption from the vaccination requirement, you will be required to submit to regular testing in accordance with the law. 

Required Experience

Qualifications:
