Position Summary The Senior Business Intelligence Developer will focus on reporting tools in Epic (our electronic health record application), backend development with SQL, SSIS, and other database application development tools in a .Net environment. Responsibilities include designing, developing, supporting, and executing reports, dashboards, and solutions that support Ardent Health’s market and corporate customers. The role also involves understanding core technical components of Ardent's applications and databases to develop solutions that enhance productivity, engagement, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Participate in Ardent's future state Cogito development, emphasizing extension of the Caboodle data warehouse and SlicerDicer reporting tool. Design, develop, and maintain extracts from Epic’s Clarity & Caboodle databases using SSIS and GoAnywhere. Complete tasks timely with accurate documentation. Gather requirements, create, ensure operational stability, tune, and manage reports and dashboards using Epic reporting tools and PowerBI. Participate in agile meetings such as daily scrums, retrospectives, backlog grooming, and sprint planning. Mentor other developers and act as SME when required. Support and enhance Reporting Workbench, SlicerDicer, and PowerBI tools for corporate and market resources. Respond to support tickets within established turnaround times. Participate in on-call support rotation for critical applications and reports. Investigate and implement Epic upgrades. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer/Data Science or equivalent work experience. 7+ years designing and developing ETL and reporting from SQL Server. Epic certification in Access, Revenue, or Clinical tracks. Experience with all phases of the software development lifecycle. Source control experience. Preferred: 10+ years designing ETL and reporting from SQL Server. Preferred: 5+ years designing data models. Preferred: 3+ years building reports/dashboards with PowerBI. Preferred: 2+ years experience with AI and machine learning. Preferred: Experience with Git source control. Preferred: Healthcare industry experience. Preferred: Certification in Caboodle development. Senior Level
