Director of Nursing – Camden Area District Nursing Association (CADNA) Nurses: Thinking about Retiring? Looking for a career change? Exciting Opportunity for Nursing Leadership in Midcoast Maine For 105 years, the Camden Area District Nursing Association (CADNA) has provided nursing services to residents of the towns of Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, and Hope. Our nurses provide essential in-home nursing care that enable community members to remain comfortably and safely at home. CADNA is now seeking an experienced individual to become our Director of Nursing. This is a leadership role combining direct patient care, staff supervision, as well as strategic input and engagement with CADNAs Executive Director and Board. You will be integral to overseeing and guiding our nursing team, ensuring high-quality patient care, and engaging proactively with the local healthcare community. Responsibilities:
Oversee and perform home visits, providing comprehensive nursing care. Supervise, train, and schedule nursing staff. Coordinate patient care services and community health initiatives. Maintain patient care records, provide monthly reports, and engage in continuous improvement activities. Collaborate closely with the agency’s Executive Director and healthcare providers to ensure cohesive service delivery. Qualifications:
Current Maine RN license required. Acute care or relevant nursing experience; home care or community health experience is strongly preferred. Excellent clinical skills, with training in, or willingness to train in specialized care of different health issues. Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Pay and Benefits: This position offers a great opportunity for work / life balance. Workdays are Monday to Friday. No nights, weekends, or holidays are required. Benefits include health insurance, retirement contributions, generous paid time off and mileage reimbursement. Salary range: $80,000 to $90,000 (commensurate with experience) for full time (40 hour) position. Part time position considered for the right candidate. Salary to be determined. Benefits available.
