Oxford Preparatory Academy's (Oxford Prep) vision is to create a center for higher learning where students from transitional kindergarten to eighth grade are prepared to pursue university level academic studies, as well as gain skills to be successful in the global community of the 21st century. Job Summary
Under the direction of the site administrator, teach and instruct pupils in Grades 6, 7, and 8, or a combination of these grade levels in academic subject matter, social, behavioral, and other educational skill areas; plan, develop, organize, and conduct a comprehensive educational program for middle school level pupils in accordance with each student's abilities; and assist in other school programs as assigned.
Education: •Possess a Baccalaureate or higher degree with an emphasis in education, instructional technology, or subject matter fields commonly taught at a middle school level.
Certification Requirements: •Possess a valid California credential authorizing service as a teacher of middle grade levels and subject areas assigned with CLAD Emphasis or English Language Learner Authorization.
