About the job Civil Engineer EIT or PE | Water & Wastewater Design
We're seeking team members with a passion for designing public infrastructure projects such as:
Responsibilities: Support project engineers in the development of design plans, specifications, and technical reports. Assist in the design and drafting of municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects. Perform hydraulic modeling and engineering calculations. Lead and manage projects including scheduling, budgeting, and client coordination. Oversee internal team members (EITs, CAD technicians) and external contractors or consultants. Review submittals, manage bid processes, and handle construction administration duties. Mentor junior staff and assist with QA/QC.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred) EIT Certification (for entry-level role) or Texas PE License (for PE role) EIT: Minimum
1+ year
of experience in municipal water/wastewater design. PE: Minimum
5+ years
in municipal water/wastewater infrastructure projects. Proficiency in Civil 3D, AutoCAD, WaterCAD, ArcGIS, or other relevant modeling and design software. Knowledge of HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, and other hydraulic tools is a plus. Strong communication and organizational abilities Capable of multitasking and shifting priorities as needed Detail-oriented with a collaborative mindset
