We are seeking a Senior Validation Engineer to join our client platform engineering team. This role involves leading efforts to enable, debug, and qualify memory technologies such as DDR5 and LPDDR5x for AMD's client SOCs, collaborating with internal teams and external partners in a lab environment. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans for DDR5 and LPDDR5x memory validation. Lead enablement of SOC DDR5 and LPDDR5x features with the platform enablement team. Perform electrical and functional testing using hardware and software tools. Create scripts and tools for silicon validation and analysis. Analyze test data to inform production decisions. Debug system memory issues during pre-silicon and production phases. Preferred Qualifications
Experience leading system memory validation, especially DDR4/5 or LPDDR4x/5/5x. Strong skills in developing and executing electrical and functional test plans. Proficiency in Python and Ruby for automation. Experience debugging I/O interfaces like DDR4/5 and LPDDR4x/5/5x. Knowledge of PC architectures and system technologies. Experience with oscilloscopes, analyzers, schematics, and layout files. Familiarity with Windows and Linux OS. Excellent communication skills. Education
