UCLA Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nutrition Manager at the UCLA West Valley Medical Center. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by combining clinical expertise with leadership and operational management in a healthcare setting. You will oversee daily operations of clinical nutrition services, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care. You will supervise registered dietitians, diet technicians, and diet assistants, managing schedules, supporting recruitment, and leading staff training and development. Key responsibilities include: Overseeing daily clinical nutrition operations, staffing, and workflow Providing coaching, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities Leading and participating in team meetings Partnering with interdisciplinary leadership on policy development and quality initiatives Ensuring team compliance with departmental goals and standards Join UCLA Health and be part of a team committed to excellence, innovation, and compassion. Salary Range: $92,600 - $202,200 Annually Job Qualifications
Required: Current and valid Registered Dietitian license with California At least 5 years of clinical experience as a Registered Dietitian Strong leadership skills including communication, scheduling, problem solving, project management, and HR compliance Ability to analyze patient concerns and develop solutions Knowledge of nutrition care for various age groups Ability to adapt procedures based on patient education, cultural, psychosocial, and economic factors Expertise in areas like pediatrics, transplant, cardiology, med/surg, renal, liver, critical care, oncology Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, food service, and sanitation Ability to evaluate and recommend appropriate nutrition regimens Skill in assessing patient nutritional needs based on standards and guidelines Effective written and verbal communication skills with hospital staff and administration
