Job Description Summary
GE Vernova's Control Solutions & Services (CSS) business line focuses on advanced control systems and digital solutions for the Power Generation, Oil & Gas, and Industrial segments. GEVernova’s Control Solutions & Services integrates cutting-edge control systems (MarkVIe, OpFlex, generator HMI/DCS), global engineering support, comprehensive lifecycle programs, and hands-on training—empowering power plants and grid operators to run safer, smarter, and more reliably across the globe.
Roles And Responsibilities
- Review customer specifications, drawings, RFP, RFQ; develop table of compliance (TOC).
- Act as the deal focal point of contact, providing application engineering guidance to customers, channel partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Lead quoting process for Core and Complex Controls offerings.
- Utilize quoting tools, technical libraries, system configurations, and design standards to develop tailored control system solutions.
- Ensure accurate cost estimation, including technical, execution, and commercial risks within the Inquiry to Order (ITO) process.
- Coordinate with supply chain and third-party providers for quotations.
- Work with sales and pricing teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
- Consolidate deal financials and present for commercial review board (CRB) approval.
- Manage tender schedules, internal approvals, bid submissions, and order readiness.
- Generate techno-commercial proposals and participate in customer meetings, negotiations, or presentations.
- Handle project handover from ITO to execution team upon PO or contract signature.
- Attend technical and commercial trainings.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of commercial processes and best practices.
- Meet/exceed KPIs such as quality, proposal cycle time, and on-time delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, or Power Engineering with at least 4 years’ experience in application/design or field service in industrial control systems, or High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Experience with Unit Control (Gas Turbine, Steam Turbine, Aero, Hydro, Nuclear), DCS, Generator (Excitation/Static Starters), HMI.
- Proficiency with MS Office, quoting tools such as Salesforce, CPQ.
Eligibility Requirements
- Up to 30% travel within US or Canada for customer meetings and opportunity development.

Pay Transparency
The base pay range is $92,800 - $154,700, influenced by experience, education, and skills. Eligible for a 15% performance bonus or incentives. Geographic differentials of 110%, 120%, or 130% may apply depending on location.
