Be part of the team in the Video Computer Vision (VCV) organization that focuses on people understanding from real-time video streams and building higher level reasoning algorithms. VCV delivered biometric features such as Face ID and Optic ID as well as many other computer vision algorithms powering Apple Vision Pro, iPhone, and iPad. We focus on a balance of research and development to deliver Apple quality, state-of-the-art experiences. Come shape Apple products as a driven and dedicated Computer Vision/Deep Learning Algorithm Engineer to push the limits of biometric ML algorithms with hands-on work and real world and simulated data, in an innovative team and be part of building the next big thing. Minimum Qualifications
Background in machine learning and deep learning. Proficiency in Python programming. Experience using ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch. BS and a minimum of 3 years of industry experience. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in object detection, vision transformers and multimodal networks. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Creativity and curiosity for solving highly complex problems. Experience in biometrics, face tracking, gaze tracking, classical image processing, or computer vision. Familiarity with cloud technologies is a plus. MS or PhD in related field. Pay & Benefits
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple's discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple's Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
