Cybersecurity Service Provider Manager
to support a Department of Energy customer in the
Washington, DC
area.
An
active DoD Top Secret or DoE 'Q' (preferred) Clearance is required to be considered for this position.
This is an upcoming opportunity contingent on contract award with a projected start date of late July 2025.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between the Information Assurance Team, CSSP Team, and Federal Oversight. Responsible for developing and complying with Information Technology (IT) related policies and procedures as the Cybersecurity Service Provider for DOE NNSA. Oversee all CSSP reporting and auditing of subscriber sites. Coordinate closely with the Assessment Team when performing Security Assessment and Authorization Verifications (SAVs) and Command Cyber Readiness Inspections (CCRIs). Establish and maintain working relationships with Subscriber Sites to support compliance and answer questions about CSSP requirements and activities Review documentation (policies, procedures) for CSSP. Lead CSSP Working Group Sessions.
Experience/Skills
15+ years of experience performing cybersecurity assessments and management within the federal government community. Experience managing a team that provides cybersecurity oversight, performs assessments, makes recommendations, and establishes best practices for improving operations, processes, and outcomes. Experience in oversight and assessment activities with existing operational processes. Experience providing continuous improvement, leading organizational change, and making recommendations to drive project performance. Possess strong writing and oral presentation capabilities in developing executive-level briefings, presentations, and recommendations for senior management. Sufficient experience working for or with the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) to develop an expert understanding of the intricacies and unique relationships NNSA has with DOD, DOE, its Maintenance and Operating (M&O) Contractors, and other external stakeholders, partners, and customers.
Education
BS in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a similar relevant degree or commensurate experience. Master's degree preferred.
Certifications
DoD CSSP Manager required certification - ISACA Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), (ISC)2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional - Information Systems Security Management Professional (CISSP-ISSMP), or EC-Council Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO).
Clearance
An active DoD Top Secret or DoE 'Q' (preferred) Clearance is required Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check. Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s).
