Job Description
The Technical Solutions Architect provides expertise in technical business process management activities. The primary focus is to lead the client and collaborate with the Technical Architecture team to determine best practices and efficient processes. The architect utilizes their knowledge of applications and tools to guide the delivery and Functional Architecture teams in configuring and enhancing applications to implement designed processes. They act as the main conduit between business process owners, executives, and technical teams to ensure the application meets requirements.
Job Duties
- Diagnose: Understand project scope, oversee environment management, comprehend applications and integration methodologies, understand data migration requirements, gather non-functional requirements.
- Analyze: Ensure enhancement requirements are detailed, assist with data migration documentation, collaborate on ISV analysis, review gap requirements, provide high-level estimates, recommend BI and reporting strategies, understand performance needs.
- Develop: Manage technical task breakdowns, support technical consultants, oversee code management and deployment, supervise testing, develop Go-Live strategy.
- Validate: Supervise testing and remediation, manage performance tuning strategy.
- Deploy and Support: Execute deployment plan, support post-Go-Live activities, foster positive team and client relationships, travel up to 25% as needed, perform other duties.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Drive completion of key workstreams, manage project workstreams, mentor and develop entry and senior level consultants.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of D365 experience leading projects and teams, OR high school diploma with 7+ years of similar experience.
Experience
- 6+ years of D365 experience, 3+ years in process improvement or software design, client-facing consulting preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills. Business process analysis and design skills. Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Technical Skills
- Experience with technologies such as X++, .NET/C#, SSRS, RESTful APIs, SQL, JSON, and object-oriented languages. Knowledge of D365 F&O implementation technologies.
