Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Database Administrator (DBA) with expertise in Oracle, DB2, and working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases such as MongoDB. The candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS cloud-based database services. Responsibilities include managing database performance, integrity, and security across environments. Required Qualifications: Located within commuting distance of Richardson, TX or Tampa, FL, or willing to relocate. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or three years of progressive experience in the field. At least 4 years of IT experience, with 4+ years as a DBA specializing in Oracle and/or DB2. Experience with Oracle versions 11g, 12c, 18c, 19c, Oracle RAC, ASM, and AWS services like EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, CloudWatch. Proficiency in Oracle Data Guard, RMAN, SQL Profiler, Extended Events, and DMVs. Experience in migrating Oracle databases to AWS, ensuring high availability, backups, performance tuning, and security. Support and optimize PostgreSQL, MySQL, and NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Develop documentation and collaborate with development teams on schema design and performance enhancements. Preferred Skills: Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL technologies, and PowerShell. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills. The role involves working at a computer for extended periods, communicating via phone, email, or face-to-face, with potential travel as required.
