Job Description:
- Maintain retention records, track bonuses and incentives, conduct surveys and studies of labor markets to determine compensation trends.
- Review and evaluate jobs, update job descriptions and qualifications, establish pay rates, and ensure compliance with government regulations (local, state, federal), company policies, and agreements, including locations outside Virginia.
- Review job classifications and make recommendations; support HR Business Partners with compensation-related activities.
- Perform reporting and trend analysis, facilitate and conduct training across the company, and perform other duties as assigned.
- Develop, implement, and administer compensation and incentive policies, procedures, practices, and programs.
- Analyze labor market surveys, review job descriptions, and apply job evaluation techniques to establish equitable compensation rates within the organization compared with industry rates.
- Analyze government regulations, company policies, and union agreements to establish standard rates; review classification and compensation changes, providing recommendations based on tasks, qualifications, and budget constraints.
- Provide guidance and recommendations to managers and HR generalists on compensation issues; interpret local, state, and federal laws regulating compensation practices.
- May be responsible for executive compensation, HRIS functions, and incentive plan and stock option administration.
Minimum Requirements:
- 0 years of experience with a Bachelor's degree.
- Strong reporting and data analytics skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and technical skills.
- Experience in developing and conducting training sessions.
- Ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment and work independently.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
- Prior HR experience.
