Role: Business Analyst (Trade Accounting) Location: Tampa, FL Business Analyst Must Have Technical/Functional Skills Business Analysis, Trade Account Domain and Core Banking knowledge, SQL, Jira, Confluence Strong knowledge of Trade Accounting and Core banking Good understanding on Account working flow and Core banking products like Flexcube Basic knowledge in SQL and awareness of Technology Good understanding and working experience in Agile Well versed with Jira and Confluence Requirements Gathering and Analysis: Facilitating, documenting, and analyzing complex user business processes and requirements, including understanding current trade finance workflows and identifying areas for improvement. Solution Design: Building design documents based on gathered requirements and collaborating with developers and end-users to design functional solutions and user workflows. System Implementation and Support: Leading in defining user requirements, ensuring their integration into application implementation, and providing functional support to technical teams during development. Testing and Quality Assurance: Creating system test plans, performing system testing, and collaborating with the QA team to ensure quality and functionality meet requirements. Data Analysis: Performing data analysis, profiling, and validation of new data sources, including loans, deposits, and other security-related data. Process Optimization: Analyzing existing processes, identifying inefficiencies, and proposing optimized solutions to improve efficiency and reduce errors. Regulatory Compliance: Understanding regulatory changes, ensuring trade processes and systems comply with relevant regulations (e.g., UCP 600, SWIFT standards), and facilitating reporting to regulatory bodies. Stakeholder Management: Collaborating with cross-functional teams (technology, compliance, operations, relationship managers, etc.) and acting as a liaison between business users and development teams. Documentation: Creating project documentation (Business Requirement Document, Functional and Detail Design Document, etc.) and potentially user manuals and release notes.
