Seeking a skilled Data Migration Specialist. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in migrating data from Oracle to Snowflake creating a high volume replicator (HVR) tool. This role requires a deep understanding of both Oracle and Snowflake technologies and the ability to design and implement the connector between the two systems. Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement data migration solutions from Oracle to Snowflake Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and ensure seamless data integration. Develop and maintain data migration scripts and processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to data migration and integration. Monitor and optimize data migration performance to ensure efficient and timely data transfer. Document data migration processes and provide training to team members as needed. Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in data migration from Oracle to Snowflake Strong knowledge of Oracle and Snowflake databases, including their architecture and data models. Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Shell. Experience with data integration tools and techniques. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices. Familiarity with data governance and data quality principles.
