Center for Christian Virtue CCV is seeking a dynamic, mission-driven Data and Technology Director to lead the organization’s digital transformation. This position will harness the power of artificial intelligence and advanced data systems to increase organizational impact, enhance strategic outreach, and empower our policy research.
This is a unique opportunity for a tech-savvy, strategically minded leader who is passionate about Christian values and public policy to shape how technology serves the mission of CCV.
Reports to: Chief Operating Officer
Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
Compensation: Full-time, Salaried/Exempt
Location: CCV Office in Columbus, Ohio (Hybrid/Remote Flexibility Considered), with Occasional Statewide Travel

Key Responsibilities
AI Integration and Systems Optimization Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of artificial intelligence tools to improve efficiency across departments. Build and manage automations for workflows including donor engagement, event planning, and internal reporting. Evaluate and deploy AI-powered CRM, data analytics, and communication platforms.
Data-Drive Policy Research Responsibilities
Oversee the collection and analysis of legislative, demographic, and cultural data to support CCV’s public policy initiatives. Utilize machine learning tools to identify trends, forecast outcomes, and generate actionable insights. Support the policy team with tools to produce rapid, high-quality research, reports, and briefings.
Digital Communication and Engagement Responsibilities
Work with communications staff to use AI-enhanced tools for email marketing, list segmentation, and message optimization. Integrate AI into social media strategies to expand CCV’s digital footprint and effectively reach target audiences. Track and analyze performance metrics across digital channels and suggest refinements.
Technology Leadership and Security Responsibilities
Configure, deploy and customize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database, Virtuous, to meet specific organizational needs. Maintain the integrity, security, and functionality of CCV’s digital infrastructure. Provide technical oversight of third-party platforms and vendor relationships. Develop long-term technology strategies that align with CCV’s mission and growth goals.
Job Qualifications & Requirements
Skills and Experience
A strong personal commitment to the mission and values of CCV. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, public policy, or a related field (Master’s preferred). 5+ years of experience in technology leadership, data analytics, or AI integration. Proven experience implementing AI tools and data pipelines in a nonprofit, policy, or advocacy context. Experience with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, machine learning platforms, or data visualization software. Familiarity with digital communications tools such as Mailchimp, NationBuilder, or similar platforms. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders. Exceptional project management, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of public policy, state government, or issue advocacy. Familiarity with faith-based nonprofits or political engagement from a Christian perspective.
Character and Spiritual
Mature Christian, currently attending or pursuing attendance in a local church. Agreement with and adherence to CCV’s Statement of Faith and Code of Conduct. Demonstrated commitment to CCV’s mission and position on Core Issues. Ability to work discreetly with confidential information. Trustworthy, responsible, tactful, diplomatic, and focused on building consensus rather than emphasizing differences. Maintain a high level of professionalism focused on client/constituent relationships.
