We are seeking a skilled Developer with 1-5 years of experience to join our team in a hybrid work model. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Databricks SQL, Databricks Workflows, and PySpark along with domain experience in Supply Chain Management and Consumer Goods. This role involves developing and optimizing data solutions to enhance supply chain processes contributing to the efficiency and effectiveness of our operations. Responsibilities
Develop and implement data solutions using Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows to support supply chain operations. Optimize existing workflows and processes to improve data accuracy and efficiency in supply chain management. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design data models that align with business objectives. Utilize PySpark to process and analyze large datasets providing actionable insights for decision-making. Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing robust validation and testing procedures. Monitor and maintain data pipelines addressing any issues to ensure seamless data flow. Provide technical support and guidance to team members fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve data solutions. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for data management and analytics. Work closely with supply chain stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Document processes and solutions to ensure knowledge sharing and continuity within the team. Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards and practices. Support the companys mission by delivering data solutions that drive supply chain excellence and consumer satisfaction. Qualifications
Demonstrate proficiency in Databricks SQL and Databricks Workflows with a strong understanding of data engineering principles. Exhibit expertise in PySpark for processing and analyzing large datasets efficiently. Possess domain knowledge in Supply Chain Management and Consumer Goods with a focus on data-driven decision-making. Have experience in designing and implementing data models that align with business objectives. Show ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Maintain a proactive approach to learning and applying new technologies and industry trends. Salary and Other Compensation: Applications will be accepted until Aug 6th 2025. The annual salary for this position is between $70-75K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
