Azure DevOps Senior Technical Specialist
Job Summary
The Senior Technical Specialist in DevOps Solutions,Azure DevOps will be responsible for overseeing and implementing Azure DevOps solutions within the organization. They will play a key role in optimizing the software development lifecycle through automation and collaboration, ensuring efficient delivery of high-quality software products.
- Key Responsibilities
1. Designing, deploying, and maintaining azure devops pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
2. Collaborating with development and operations teams to implement ci/cd best practices.
3. Monitoring and optimizing azure cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, availability, and performance.
4. Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to azure devops tools and services.
5. Implementing security measures in azure devops pipelines to protect sensitive data.
6. Providing technical guidance and support to team members on azure devops tools and practices.
Skill Requirements
1. Proficiency in azure cloud services and azure devops tools.
2. Strong experience with ci/cd pipelines, version control systems, and automation tools.
3. Knowledge of infrastructure as code (iac) using tools like terraform or arm templates.
4. Ability to script and automate tasks using powershell, bash, or python.
5. Familiarity with containerization technologies such as docker and kubernetes.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical issues.
7. Strong communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert certification preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
A candidates pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies. In addition, this role is eligible for the following benefits subject to company policies: medical, dental, vision, pharmacy, life, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance; employee assistance program; 401(k) retirement plan; 10 days of paid time off per year (some positions are eligible for need-based leave with no designated number of leave days per year); and 10 paid holidays per year.
