Base pay range $180,000.00/yr - $190,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Martineau Recruiting Technology About the Role : “Hands-on Strategic leader” responsible for the data roadmap—bringing together people, platforms, and policies to maximize the value of our data assets. This is a pivotal role for a change-maker who thrives on building relationships, enabling business insights, and delivering tangible impact across the organization. More specifically, the goals are to rapidly stabilize the current state on-premise environment (Qliksense) and lead the architecture, design and migration to the future state cloud-based solutions while leading, coaching and managing the Analytics team. Responsibilities : Define, develop and lead the execution of a multi-year enterprise data roadmap aligned with business growth and IT modernization. Consolidate and modernize the data and analytics technology stack, including systems such as DB2, MySQL, SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, and FiveTran. Lead the data architecture efforts (design sessions, ARB, etc.). Collaborate closely with business and IT stakeholders to ensure data investments unlock value across key areas like sales trends, customer behavior, and inventory allocation. Establish and oversee comprehensive data governance and stewardship frameworks, ensuring consistent data quality, security, and compliance across platforms. Define and scale data management best practices, from data ingestion through visualization and reporting. Qualifications : 15+ years in data and analytics with a track record of delivering results in mid-to-large organizations. 4+ years of leadership experience, managing teams, influencing technical direction. Deep experience in data governance, architecture, and platform consolidation. Proficiency with both legacy and cloud-based platforms (DB2, MySQL, SQL Server, Databricks, Snowflake, FiveTran). Strong leadership background with matrixed teams and complex stakeholder environments. Demonstrated success in change management, driving adoption of new systems and processes. Required Skills : Strong analytical and strategic thinking. Data Architecture/design background – ability to lead architectural efforts. Current “hands-on” skills in a variety of Data & Analytics tools. Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences. Proven leadership and team mentorship abilities. Deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape and threats. Ability to work under pressure and make decisions in critical situations. Strong problem-solving skills. Seniority level
