Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an MBSE Systems Engineer to join a Federal Program located in Hampton, VA. The MBSE Systems Engineer will be r esponsible for the design, implementation, management and support of the organizations network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security and reliability of the network.

Responsibilities of the MBSE Systems Engineer:
- Designs and implements scalable and robust network solutions to support organizational needs.
- Plans and executes network upgrades and expansion to ensure optimal performance and capacity.
- Monitors network performance and troubleshoots and resolves highly complex problems to maintain operating efficiency and ensure quality transmission service on the network.
- Uses subject matter expertise to diagnose and solve issues and has authority to deviate from standard operating procedures
- Configures and maintains network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs and wireless access points.
- 10+ years of related experience
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field
- Required Technical Skills: Included but not limited to, Cisco switches, IP Address Management, network security, patch management, STIGs, IAVM, ACLs, IPSec, NIST publications, etc.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States and obtain and maintain an U.S. Government Active Top Secret Clearance
- Required Skills and Abilities: IAT Level II certification in accordance with DoD 8140.01M Cyberspace Workforce (i.e., Security +)
- Salary Range: $160,000 - $210,000+ *flexible based on experience*
