Senior Drupal Developer
with deep expertise in Drupal development and the Acquia platform to join our team. Youll lead the design and implementation of innovative Drupal solutions, mentor junior developers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality websites and applications. Key Responsibilities
Lead the development, maintenance, and optimization of Drupal-based websites and applications. Manage multi-site Drupal environments using
Acquia Site Factory
and streamline site building with
Acquia Site Studio . Design and develop
custom Drupal modules
and
themes
to meet client needs. Oversee the full development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and deployment. Collaborate with project managers, UX/UI designers, and developers to deliver exceptional solutions. Conduct
code reviews
and ensure adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in existing Drupal sites. Stay updated on the latest trends in Drupal and web technologies. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers. Work directly with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical solutions. Assist in project planning, task estimation, and resource allocation. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 7+ years of experience
in Drupal development. Strong expertise in
Acquia Site Factory
and
Acquia Site Studio . Proficiency in
PHP ,
HTML ,
CSS ,
JavaScript , and related web technologies. Experience with
custom module and theme development
in Drupal. Familiarity with
version control systems
(e.g., Git). Knowledge of
web services ,
APIs , and third-party integrations. Strong understanding of
responsive web design
and front-end frameworks. Experience with
database design and management
(e.g., MySQL, MariaDB). Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with
headless Drupal
and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js, Angular). Familiarity with other
Acquia products
(e.g., Acquia Cloud, Acquia Lift, Acquia DAM). Contributions to the
Drupal community
(e.g., modules, themes, documentation). Experience
leading a team of developers . Drupal certification
(e.g., Acquia Certified Developer).
