Vantage Point Consulting Job Description: MES Technical/ Functional Consultant
MES Configuration & Integration:
Customize FactoryTalk Production Centre and integrate MES with plant systems, ensuring seamless operations.
Data Management & Analysis:
Proactively retrieve logs, analyze SQL datasets, run purge routines, and extract insights to optimize performance.
Multi-Domain Expertise:
Fluent in ladder logic, control engineering, DC tools, network configurations, protocols, and ERP systems—ensuring a full grasp of the plant's technical ecosystem.
Technical Communication:
Clearly document findings, troubleshoot independently, and articulate complex technical issues to plant managers and MES teams.
System Upgrades & Security Awareness:
Regularly assess system updates, security patches, and external forums for critical enhancements.
Leadership Without Handholding:
Lead bridge calls, involve the right stakeholders, and drive solutions autonomously without excessive guidance.
On-Site Operational Support:
Remain available during production hours to address critical issues promptly . Seniority level
