Job Title: Senior Data Engineer Job Description:
Must Have
Informatica (run jobs, update jobs, and maintain jobs)
PL/SQL (PostgreSQL)
Oracle database - performance tuning (SQL Tuning Advisor, integrate an Oracle tuning plan, etc.) and development
Database - advanced query, advanced SQL

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Development and maintenance projects, production support, and incident management.
Participating in release planning, daily stand-ups, and assisting team with PL/SQL, ETL development, maintenance, code reviews, performance tuning, bug fixes, solving production incidents, and design optimization.
Recommending and following best engineering practices.
Building quality solutions aligned with technology standards to solve business problems through design, development, and support.
Key Skills for this Role
Strong knowledge of Oracle and PostgreSQL database concepts.
Hands-on development in SQL/PL SQL, including performance tuning, writing packages, stored procedures, and fixing skills.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Experience with PL/SQL and ETL processes.
Some exposure to data modeling for database object redesign during performance issues.
Hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
Exposure to UNIX environment and scripting.
Knowledge of Control M, Source Tree.
Knowledge of cloud concepts (AWS/Azure), Snowflake, and data lakes is preferred.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
AWS/Azure certification.
Good email communication and etiquette for status calls.
Experience with Snowflake and data lakes is a plus.
Creative, energetic, and proactive professional who enjoys challenges.
Experience or exposure to finance and markets is preferred.
Strong written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.
Ability to analyze complex projects independently.
High dedication, initiative, vision, and enthusiasm.
