Job Title: Controls Design EngineernLocation: New Brighton, MNnAre you a detail-oriented and technically proficient Controls Design Engineer looking to contribute to innovative projects?nWe are seeking a skilled Controls Design Engineer to join our team. This position offers a competitive base salary of $70-$130K, commensurate with experience and education.nAbout the Role:nnElectrical Design & Schematics: You will read and interpret contract plans and specifications to create project electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.nControl System Development: You will develop control narratives for the proper operation of control systems.nManufacturing Support: You will provide design-related support to the control panel shop during the manufacturing process.nCustomer Support: You will offer exceptional service and support to customers during construction and post-commissioning activities.nProblem Solving & Troubleshooting: You will diagnose errors in specifications or technical problems and determine appropriate solutions.nTechnical Documentation: You will produce accurate and timely electrical CAD drawings and generate Bills of Materials (BOM).nnWho You Are:nnExperienced Engineer: You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a project engineer role or similar, including design, implementation, and project closeout.nEducated Professional: You hold a 2-year electrical engineering degree or have equivalent experience.nTechnical Proficiency: You are proficient in electrical CAD software and familiar with wire sizing, conduit routing, panel boards, and instrumentation.nCommunication Skills: You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.nDetail-Oriented & Adaptable: You have strong multitasking abilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a willingness to quickly learn about new technologies.nnPreferred Qualifications:nnProficiency in SolidWorks or AutoCAD Electrical.nExperience with panel design.nnRequired Skills:nnAbility to read and interpret contract plans and specifications.nAbility to develop control narratives for control systems.nProficiency in electrical CAD software.nFamiliarity with wire sizing, conduit routing, panel boards, and instrumentation.nnCompensation & Benefits:nnCompetitive Base Salary: $70-$130K, relevant to experience and education.nnReady to Join Our Team?nIf you are a talented and motivated Controls Design Engineer with a passion for electrical design and a desire to contribute to successful projects, please apply and reach out to Brian Ray at or call 470-415-8255.
