Full-Time Benefit Eligible Sign On Bonus: $5,000 Schedule: Monday through Friday, four 10-hour shifts per week from 8:00 AM to 6:30 PM Rotating on call, holidays and weekends are required. General Summary
Unit Description: Henry Ford St John Hospital's Endoscopy Department is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team! We are a fast-paced department that conducts approximately 20-30 procedures per day. Our team consists of Registered Nurses, Endoscopy Technicians, CRNAs, and physicians. In this role, you will rotate between pre-op, procedural, and post-operative responsibilities. We primarily work the day shift, Monday through Friday, with rotating call on the evenings and weekends. We enjoy flexibility in our scheduling practices, and work as a team to provide coverage. Why join our department? We are a dedicated team of professionals that stress continuing education. If you have prior Endoscopy, OR, ICU, or procedural experience, we want to meet you! Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services. Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel. Certifications/Licensures Required
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing. Preferred Qualifications
Prior Endoscopy, Operating Room, ICU, or Procedural experience is preferred
