By providing patients and internal and external stakeholders with a consistent, efficient, and easy experience, you’ll help ensure that patients at The Oregon Clinic Gastroenterology Endoscopy Center receive the highest value care tailored to their needs. Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this roleinclude: Responsible for providing professional nursing care for clinic patients under the direction of a Physician(s) and within their scope of practice according to the Oregon State Board of Nursing. Assists in all phases of patient care, including admitting, assisting during procedures, and recovery. Accurately handles all specimens, completes laboratory request forms, and verifies information is correct. Ensures equipment and supplies are cleaned, disinfected, and available when needed. Provides patient and family health education. Updating records as needed. Other duties as assigned. Hiring range, based on experience and credentials: Level I: $43.78 - $59.24 per hour. Level II: $48.16 - $65.16 per hour. Workdays: This role is located at Gateway Medical Office Building, and typical hours are Monday-Friday, Four 10-hour shifts Day off: T.B.D., but can only be on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday (7:00 am-5:30 pm). Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including: Current Oregon state licensure as a Registered Nurse is required. Minimum one (1) year of experience as a Registered Nurse is required. Current CPR within 60 days of hire. ACLS will be required. Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask. Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred. Epic experience is a plus! Excellent attendance and work ethic. Positive attitude and desire to be a team player. Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
