We’re seeking a seasoned EPMO Consultant to support the a project in New York focused on public health and Medicaid. You will lead a Current State Assessment, develop Future State recommendations, and roadmap implementation steps to modernize the EPMO framework and processes. **This position does require occasional travel to Albany, NY based on project needs. ** Evaluate existing program, portfolio, and project management processes against PMI PMBOK and NY Project Management Guidebook practices (scope, budgeting, scheduling, risk, quality, etc.) Conduct Current State Assessment to identify strengths, gaps, and opportunities across tools, processes, and resource allocation Develop Future State recommendations, including phased implementation plans and risk-mitigation strategies Define and establish KPIs to measure program and project outcomes in alignment with CMS expectations Facilitate engagement management tasks: schedule meetings, prepare agendas, document minutes, and create PowerPoint presentations Draft and refine deliverables with strong writing and analytical skills Requirements Minimum
8 years
of experience implementing large-scale healthcare solutions At least
3 years
of general IT systems experience with formal training or education. Minimum
3 years
of experience on enterprise systems or projects. Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Preferred Qualifications: Certifications and hands-on experience in Lean Six Sigma, Agile, PDCA, Kanban, PMP, CBAP, ITIL, or similar process-improvement and project management methodologies. Physical Requirements & Environmental Conditions:
