About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead the establishment of a new regional intermediary workforce organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategic leadership, organizational management, partnership development, resource development, and program coordination. This role is pivotal in addressing the talent gap in the region by aligning education and workforce systems with the economic growth and talent development needs. The Executive Director will be tasked with building the organization from the ground up, engaging a diverse set of stakeholders, and ensuring the long-term impact and sustainability of the initiative.
Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' progressive experience in workforce development, education, or related fields, with a proven track record of leading diverse stakeholders and securing philanthropic support. The role requires a leader with a strong background in managing complex projects, familiarity with education and workforce systems, and the ability to work effectively in an entrepreneurial, start-up context. The Executive Director will be expected to have a well-rounded interpersonal skill set, be adept at data analysis, and be committed to ensuring equitable access to opportunities for all regional populations. The position demands a dynamic individual who can travel regionally as needed and is prepared to live within a commutable distance of the region or relocate.
